Dive Guardians – Healing Through SCUBA for First Responders & Veterans
What We Do
Dive Guardians is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by First Responders and Military Veterans. We are also dive professionals and passionate scuba enthusiasts who have personally experienced the transformative, healing power of SCUBA diving. Our mission is to give back to our fellow brothers and sisters—those who have served, are serving, and continue to face trauma in silence.
We stand with the ones who’ve been there, done that, and still suit up daily to fight the good fight.
How We Do It
We offer a comprehensive and compassionate program that combines:
-
SCUBA Diving
-
Individual & Group Counseling / Coaching
-
HRV (Heart Rate Variability) Biofeedback
-
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
This integrative approach is designed to foster healing, promote self-awareness, and provide space for emotional recovery and resilience building.
Our program is 100% free to First Responders.
Our goal is to reduce symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) and to combat the rising number of first responder suicides through therapeutic and community-centered support.
Our Mission
We aim to bring continued awareness to the mental health crisis among First Responders and Veterans, particularly the alarming suicide rates. At Dive Guardians, our mission is to offer not just hope, but tangible healing and connection through:
-
Mental health education
-
Peer and professional support
-
A structured resiliency program that incorporates scuba diving as a core therapeutic tool
