Clara Love Johnson

What set the hook?
I've always had a deep love for water and the ocean. When the opportunity to become SCUBA certified came my way, I seized it without hesitation—and I’ve never looked back. For years, my weekends were spent diving the beautiful waters of Southern California, both from the beach and by boat, exploring the underwater world that fascinated me for so long.
Early on, I realized I wanted to share this incredible adventure with others. That’s when I began my journey as a dive professional, and eventually, as a SCUBA instructor. The best part of my job is getting to introduce others to the wonders of the ocean and see their excitement as they experience it for the first time. Every dive is an opportunity to share my passion, and I love every minute of it.

Goals:
My primary goal is simple yet profound: to continue sharing the amazing underwater world with others. I’m committed to producing safe divers who have not only the skills but also an understanding and respect for the ocean and the sport of SCUBA diving itself. Each dive is an opportunity to learn, grow, and explore, and I want to ensure that everyone I teach has the knowledge and experience to dive responsibly and confidently.
Additionally, I am dedicated to continuing my own education. As a dive professional, ongoing learning is essential to growing in my craft, and it allows me to offer the best possible experience to my students. The more I learn, the better I can share the wonders of the ocean with others and help them become the best divers they can be.
